Well I was successful at selling my Handy 1000# Motorcycle Lift yesterday. Not wanting to let idle cash lay around I went looking for a Lift Table that is capable of handling my TG. Found two, one is specific for a trike and the other is capable of handling a trike. Price is pretty good. I bought the Kernel M1500 model and paid $1,260 delivered to my front door. Kernel makes a M1300 which is more Trike Specific. That model runs around $1,340 bucks plus shipping unless you want to go and pick it up.

Here's the link to the Distributor.

Not sure what HF lift capacity is. I've seen their lift in the store and I'm unimpressed. I'm inclined to get something a little more substantial since there will be times when I've got my head stuck under there. But, thanks for the suggestion.

:Agree: We work off of a Handy BOB 1500, I don't care to save a couple dollars only to spend it on damage when my bike or trike hits the ground from a collapsed lift.

Yep, I'm familiar with the Handy's. Just sold a 1000# Standard Air with extension.

The Kernel M1500 is rated at 1500#, has floor extension just to provide an even more solid base. The Kernel base is 31 1/2" wide x 88 1/2" long, weighs in at 780#, uses 10 guage diamond finished steel and is 50" wide with the full length extensions. The Handy BOB 1500 is also rated a 1500#, the base is 28" wide x 84" long and weighs in at 560#, don"t know what guage steel is used, is 52 1/2" wide with the smaller rear wheel only extensions.

I'm not feeling that the Kernel is a inferior product to the Handy.

Your 1500 is very similar to mine JJ. Luv, luv, luv it. I like the rollers that run on a steel plate instead of on concrete as well.

Put a two wheeler on the lift with trike wings and just put down the kick stand.

Got to be a little careful when your tires are wet though. If you give it a little throttle climbing up the ramp hump the back tire will spin you right off the lift. Don't ask me how I know.. :D:D I ended up painting a sand base on the ramps for traction. No more worries about slipping.

Thanks for the heads up. I have auto ramps with wheel blocks that I can use or I can put 3 two foot long 2 x 10 in front of the ramps to cut down on the initial angle plus using sand base is an excellent suggestion. Since the table is only 50" wide one is going to have to be exact when first hitting the ramps.

Funny.. I used 3' long 2x12's and drilled the ramp. Use lag bolts through the ramp and into the 2x12's

When your buddies find out you have a lift strange things will happen.

1. Your garage beer supply with mysteriously disappear.
2. Your oil storage container will fill up somehow.
3. Shop rags will need to be cleaned more often.
4. You will figure out some way to heat and cool the garage.
5. You will purchase more lighting.
6. Your shop table will seem a lot smaller.
7. It will suddenly be very popular to hang out at your place.

Just say'n ThumbUp

You left out:
If your garage is heated, and has A/C like mine. The buddy's love working on theirs here, which is fine, I really don't mind, but nobody is ever around when you work on yours, and could use some help!
It's just the way the world works! LOL

You can copy and paste that again.
