I am 62 live on the wet side of Washington and just bought a 84 Sportster for me and a 99 Sportster for my wife.
I want to make mine into a trike.
I have a ton of questions.
Fred

Hello Fred . The sportster makes a great trike!!!!! So ask away, and keep us updated on your conversion progress. The biggest concern you need to have is that your wife is going to want hers triked too, when she sees and rides yours! So it will cost you twice as much .

Well, thank you for the welcome.
My problem is $$$$$.I have seen the rear ends from Frankenstein and Santiago but they go for 3K+.
I have looked at trikes that use car rear ends. That is what I need to look into.
So, has anyone here built a trike this way or have information, pictures?
Anyone know of a servicar rear end ?
Fred

Welcome aboard lakesmod, glad you found us. ask away we will answer. Spend some time in the Harley section there is alot of information there all ready.

Fred, check out ultraboy's albums on his profile page. He is currently building a trike for his wife "from scratch" without a commercial kit. Her bike is not a sporty, but it is a Harley, and you may well get some great ideas from him.
