Hey Everyone!
Like the post says. Been riding two wheels all my life. While recovering from a hip replacement, I started poking around the web about trikes. Figuring, yea, someday.... well. Here I am, a couple months later and the proud owner of a 2023 Tri Glide.
I'm still keeping a few of the two-wheelers, but Mrs says "no more Adventure/off road stuff". And she's probably right. I've got a couple knee replacements coming, perhaps another hip, and ya know what? Trikes are pretty darn cool once ya figure out they don't lean. (At least mine doesn't).
In addition, I'm a California Motorcycle Instructor part-time. I'm planning on taking the 3-wheel Instructor Training later this summer, and thought - gee, what a poser if I'm teaching people 3-wheel bikes and don't actually ride one myself.
Got just under 1K miles on it in the last 2 weeks, including some two-up time. This purchase was 100% Mrs Approved, and she loves the pillion spot. So.... off we go!
