New GL1800/Hannigan Owner

Have been admiring the numerous Trikes buzzing around in N Georgia and wound up visiting a nearby dealer.Took a test drive and was hooked.Trike being delivered Friday June 3.Deep brandy wine color with EZ steer.Drives great and looks sharp. Will post photos next week
I had not been on a motorcycle in 50 years, but do ride bicycles and a catrike Expedition(pedal power trike),active boater,Fly fish(salt and fresh water),shoot clays and a little SASS(cowboy action).I am a very active senior and have been married 56 years this October
Excited about being a new member and my new Hannigan trike:)

Welcome-I have 1800/Hannigan also.
Consider taking the rider foot pegs off and resting your feet on the weight bearing foot fairings(If you ordered them). Much more comfortable. Very easy to get use to the shifting and braking using the foot fairings.
Also, consider getting all forward facing surfaces and the top edges of the foot fairings covered w/3M stoneguard.

Thanks for the tips.It does have the load bearing fairings so I will consider that suggestion. Will call my dealer and get him to install the 3M products before delivery.:Trike1::Trike1:
