Hi everyone! I live just north of Chattanooga, TN in a small community called McDonald. My hubby just bought me (with my approval) a 2010 HD Street Glide Trike. I am just learning to ride and took the MSF at the end of March, got my certificate and got my endorsement 3 weeks later. I was riding a 2009 FXDL. A beautiful bike and I was coming along great. I dropped the bike coming to a stop and hurt my elbow. Had to wait several weeks before I could get back on due to not having the grip I need for the clutch. My hubby became very concerned that I might get into a situation and panic and get hurt on the Dyna. He expressed his concern to me and although I really wanted to ride on two wheels, I agreed with him. I too felt that it would take several summers of riding before I would be road savvy enough to take any trips. I am 64 years old and didn't want to give up that much time. Monday we bought the Street Glide Trike and I practiced yesterday. It was so much easier and within 20 minutes I was riding my hubby around the parking lot. I practiced the reverse today in our driveway and tomorrow one more day in the parking lot and I will ride hubby home! I really like the trike and when I sell some things on ebay, I will do some mods! I want led lights!
