New bar in town.

In a small Midwestern conservative town, A local Businessman bought a vacant lot up the street from a Baptist Church. And was in the process of building a Bar/Tavern.
The Church up set over this started a campaign of Prayer visual's in front of the building site to hopefully block the bar from opening.

Work progressed , However right up till the week before the bar was to open' A lighting strike hit the building burnt it to the ground...

The Church folks were rather smug and rightist in their outlook after that, Until the bar owner sewed the church on the grounds that the church was ultimately responsible for the demise of his building , Either though direct or indirect actions or means...

The Church vehemently denied all responsibility or any connection to the buildings demise in it's reply to the court...

As the case made it's way into the court , The judge looked over the paperwork at the hearing and commented , I don't know how I'm going to decide this case, But it appears from the paperwork..

That we have a Bar owner that believes in the power of prayer, And an entire Church congregation that doesn't......

And here's another can of worms...

If the judge believed in God, he would almost have to rule in favor of the bar owner on the basis of conspiracy.
