New B

Just joined the forum hailing from south Louisiana. My wife has a VTX 1800 Motor Trike and I have a couple of 2-wheelers. I am in the process of getting a trailer to tow behind her trike and I thought I would check this place out for ideas on a trailer hitch and maybe trailering in general.

WELCOME to TRIKE TALK....."Catchy" Handle.....I like the "New B" also....;)....Post up some Pics of the Wife's Trike.....:wtg:

Well i guess the question people was about trailers . The trike will handle it with ease. You can spend as little as $800 or go the full $4,000 on a trailer. You can pull up to about 600 lb after that it will pull but stopping will be a little bothersome. Trailer hitch: I have just a normal 2" ball some have swivel more important on a 2 wheeler to have a swivel, and last I don't know much about where you can get a hitch for that trike model . I do know you will need at least a converter if you have combo tail, light, stop, turn on the trailer and separate turn sig. on the bike . Some like to use an Isolator to prevent feed back and eliminate danger of trailer wire shorting and burning out wires on the trike . OBTW welcome to TT

</div>Welcome aboard. I would go with a hitch by Motor Trike if they offer one for your trike. Makes things simple that way.
