Hi, My daughter and Son-in-law are moving to Naples Fl. because of his job. Can anybody tell me "the Good, Bad, and Ugly" about Naples and surrounding area. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Beautiful area, wonderful Gulf Coast beaches and not to far to travel about anywhere in Florida. I'm across the state on the Space Coast.

We live in the extreme western panhandle, but all along the Gulf coast, the beaches cannot be beat!

Only been as far south as Ft. Myers. Seems like an alright part of Florida. You just better like high humidity. And don't forget the Aligators, Red Ants and the occasional Black Panther.:Joker3:

In the winter time the traffic is terrible.

Thanks kinda what I thought. Does anyone know about the schools and crime rates? My main concern are our grandkids (ages 4 and 6), adults seem to adapt more easily.

Naples is a nice area. Never lived there, but I've visited several times.

Lots of good fishing, from what I hear.
