My new toy :D

Congratulations! You've got a great looking set up there, and it looks ready to go on some long adventures with you ;)

Thanks everyone, getting back on a Goldwing after a 15 year break was not as hard as I thought it would be, the trike handles great, very smooth and the wife likes it :) So I see a lot of riding in my future.

WOW....and I thought I was away from it for a long time. I had not been on a bike in 12 years. So when Carl said those magic words when he delivered mine....""Take it for a quick spin""....I was more than a bit apprehensive. But, once I clicked into first gear everything seemed to come flooding back. WHAT A RUSH!!!!!.....And I have absolutely no regrets now whatsoever!!!!!

Enjoy your ride. You will have a LOT of fun and, as always, a lot of comments wherever you go.:10:

In just the 2 days I have ridden the trike I have gotten a lot of positive comments and questions and a whole lot of people just watching me go down the road, this is going to be fun, should have done it years ago.

I really like it when, in a residential area, people stop what they are doing and stare with that "Am I really seeing that" look on their faces.....WAY too much fun!!!!!

I never saw one either until this one. It is a trike shop ultimate Goldwing that they made before the name change to Roadsmith. It has the 9 gallon extra gas tank and IRS. The previous owner said it has all the options available at the time it was triked (2000).

There are 2 bolts holding the fender skirts on just take them out and the skirts pop off. It was easy once he showed me, that was my first question when I looked at it.

A friend had an ultimate and road it across the US twice. He never missed a chance to go on a trip and I never knew of him having a problem related to the conversion. It looked as if it was floating when he would cross railroads etc. Very smooth. He has since passed but I think his wife still has it. I am sure if he was still living he would be traveling as much as possible.

Yes it is very smooth, I was surprised just how smooth the first time I rode it.
The original owner didn't ride it much only when the wife went with him, he has a 95 Harley he rode solo so it only has 21,600 on the clock, not bad for a 12 year old trike.:)
