Had my Papa's Rake kit installed and what a difference it makes, super easy steering and a whole lot easier in the curves. It was a good move. Now let's go forward a couple of days, My driveway is on a slight incline, so I was backing out, normally I stop at the door hit the garage door opener and coast down the driveway. What the $%^&^, it wobbled all over the place and scared the crap out of me, I'm used to it now and I don't back down fast anymore, but it was an eye opener.

Thought I let everyone know, if you didn't already; not a show stopper get the kit it's great but watch out going backwards.

I don't believe you should be getting any wobble at all whether going forwards or back. It sounds like everything isn't quite right enough. I'm sure @Papa Zook will be a long shortly to provide his thoughts.

The key words here are FAST and backwards Doug. Rather than coast down your driveway at speed, you should use the trike's electric reverse for a controlled backup and you will have no problems.

I would not do this, but if you choose to let it roll/coast backwards down an incline at any speed, just make sure you have both hands on your bars, go slow and use your brakes to control your speed and steer it as it will behave differently under these circumstances. This is totally different than it behaves otherwise. Backing the trike on a flat surface it will not behave like this. I've never had a report of this before now, but never had anyone coast it backwards down their driveway in neutral either.

When we were young 14 years old me and my brothers bought a 1965 Servi Car, me being a little brain-dead jump on it put it in reverse and cranked the throttle OMG I thought I was dead it just whipped the handlebars back & forth so fast I thought my arms were going to be pulled out of my sockets, my old man laughed so hard.

Yeah, when you're attempting to steer any three wheeled vehicle with the front wheel, while said vehicle is rolling downhill backwards while you are facing the opposite direction, it gets a little tricky. Same is true if you're doing it on purpose..🤣

i back down or up my drive... no diff i don't go fast. some of the best $$ spent

I'm not saying anything bad about the kit, it's great! it was just a surprise, it would have done it without the rake kit if the dampener was off of it. the dampener was preventing it before.
I also have Papa Zook's rake kit installed. Did it myself. I also have a wobble at very low speed only while coasting under 3 or 4 mph. As long as I am under load it's gone. I noticed at the very first time I took it out after the install. Not concerned about it at all.

I would suggest you re-torque the steering stem bearings.
