My GoPro HD Motorsports Hero 1st video trial and a question...

Finally got my GoPro HD Motorsports Hero! Here is my 1st video trial. It's mounted to the engine guard and as you can see is rock steady.

Please let me know what you think.

For those of you who have this camera, I have a question. Is there any way to zoom in a bit to avoid seeing the front wheel?

Was that a tiny speck of dust on front fender? No I think just a shadow LOL. Great video, smooth & clear

Nice video -- Was that a quarter on the side of the road at that stop? :giggle:

Michael: How did you mount it on the eng guard? Any pics. Aant to ride to the WoingDing in July & thought it would be a great time to take pics / video. Thks. Ghalib

Your video gave me an idea for a Christmas gift for ScalpHunter! Thanks!

Saltywheels - we're going to WingDings in Knoxville, but we are planning to go to Maggie Valley for TTIV a few days prior - you ought to plan on that, too!

Here are the mounts I use on my bike (see photos). the first 4 photos show 2 mounts that are great for the video. For still photography, while in motion, you'll need direct access to the trigger and the fast shutter speed that GoPro HD does not have, so I use Lumix Panasonic DMC-ZS3 and a RAM's Quick Release mount (last photo). As you can see, the access to the trigger is immediate and you can instantly dismount just the camera and take with you when leaving the bike.

Great Gift for the boys that love their toys!!!

I hope ScalpHunter will enjoy it as much as I do. I bought my GoPro HD Motorsports Hero from these guys at only $229.95 (shipping included) and got it in 3 days!!! Here is the link:

Unless I can get some of the GWRRA local chapter riders to join me. Thanks Blondie...now see what ya dun!:wtg:

Mike: What is the top surface (beige in color?) on the Ram still Mount? I like that idea. Currently have a Radar detector in that position, with the Zumo on the other side. But maybe I can forego the fuzz buster in lieu of the camera. Thks

That's the upper platform of the Quick Release mount that attaches to the bottom of the camera or any other device.

Thks Mike. That's a nifty must-have device. Do you take pics / videos thru yr w-shield? Am trying to get an extension from Ram so that I can have the camera just outside of the w-shield. Brgds. Ghalib
