Motortrike Razor

I just had the Motortrike Razor kit installed on my 2010 Wing after lots of test driving. I am completely pleased with the way it handles but I've struggled with getting the trunk open. The clearance between the top of the MT kit and the Wing trunk is minimal and the size of my fat hands don't let me grab the latch well enough to get the MT trunk open. Anyone else had this problem?

I have a Razor.

Push in on at the top the trunk while pulling the opening handle.

Mine is smooth as can be.

If that doesn't work better, I'd have the installer tweak it for you.

I don't think the problem he is having is opening the truck because of binding. I think he is talking about the clearance between the trunk and the kit. All I can say is put your hand on a diet or find someone to take along with a skinny hand. You may want to think about raising the trunk up. A few spacers might do the trick. It is amazing what a 1/4 inch will do.
JMHO. Hope you have many happy miles and smiles on your trike, I love mine.

Sounds like a great solution but how much work is involved in raising the GW trunk?

Thanks for your recommendation Mike. I did install a handle but it didn't solve the problem. Then I found that it was the left latch that wasn't releasing and I started looking at the cable that comes down from the GW Trunk. I found that the cable wasn't releasing the left latch so I loosened the screws and moved the latch assembly over. That solved the problem. If anyone needs more detail, shoot me a reply and I can get more specific about adjustment.
