Has anyone else had any problems with the trunk door latches on the new motor tryke IRS gladiator comming out of adjustment while riding.The trunk then opens while traveling by the 2 plungers . I am going for the second adjustment this week to again fix the problem .Motortrike says they are unaware of the problem. This is now getting annoying on rides as it may loosen up from road vibrations an the trunk pops open. Your help is welcome, Tryker55.

I too have the same problem with my new 2011 TriGlide, trunk popped open twice yesterday. Sometime this week I'm gonna have a look at it, but on the on set, it seems on the harley, the latch is covered by a plastic cover, inside the trunk, that cover seems to be what binds the latch and does not allow for proper closing. I sprayed WD40 on it both inside the cover and on the thumb button that opens the trunk, so I will see if it pops open today.

put a extra nut on the shaft. that what i did after one of the latches fell off jam nut
