The Honda crotch rocket rider was traveling at approximately 85 mph.

The VW driver was talking on a cell phone when she pulled out from a side street, apparently not seeing the motorcycle. The rider's reaction time was not sufficient enough to avoid this accident.

The car had two passengers and the bike rider was found INSIDE the car with them.

The Volkswagen actually flipped over from the force of impact and landed 20 feet from where the collision took place.

All three involved (two in the car and the bike rider) were killed instantly. This graphic demonstration was placed at the Motorcycle Fair by the Police and Road Safety Department..

Pass this on to car drivers or soon to be new drivers, or new motorcycle owners and especially everyone you know who has a MOBILE phone!!!

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Save a life. Stop talking on mobile phones and Texting while trying to drive.

The life you save may be your own..... Or mine...

Keep passing this on so everyone will see what can happen by using a mobile PHONE while driving

Already experienced with this. 2014 a farm implement dealer failed to turn his head and check behind him before making a LEFT turn from the RIGHT shoulder of the road. I was the only one hurt, with the totaled trike, and am still dealing with the injuries I sustained. Sued the 85 year old idiot and won.

And flying at 85 MPH on the street.......:gah:

Thanks for the share Sully! I agree with everyone's comments. It really peeves me when I see someone on their phone behind the wheel. I had a friend/fellow riders t-boned by a texting driver in a pickup truck over the weekend. He is on his third surgery to put him back together today.

Just about every car that drives by my house, The driver is on the phone, I even see the cops on their cell phones while driving... Cell-Phones are like a drug ,It rings you have to answer it even while walking at a cross walk against the light...:xzqxz:

Yeah, and cops still smoke in their cars

We need tougher laws but that will be up to the states I guess

Looks like Georgia just got tougher on cell phones

This photo has been bouncing around the internet since about 2007 or so, IIRC. Still a good message though.

You can't blame the celll phone lobbies for this.

Blocking cell phones is against FCC regulations. (there have been some exceptions like in and around prisons)

Nothing will change until some Senator or phone company executive gets a loved one killed. Then watch how fast cell phone blocking happens. Not until they are personally affected will one dang thing stop cell phone use in a moving vehicle. Just what the heck did these people do before cell phones? That got their message when they got home. So what the heck is so dang important now? Not one dang thing. It's pure selfishness. Plain and simple. You are not that dang important to need to be on the phone while your vehicle is moving. Especially if you are the driver. They can and should block the actual phone portion of that cell phone as well as message apps. Other apps like GPS types could still function. They can do this. But won't until someone high up gets killed or they lose a loved one.:furious::furious::furious::taz::taz::taz::badmood::badmood::badmood:
