When I got my new-to-me, 2008 Goldwing, w/Spyder conversion, I had one of the lights out in the rear light bar. I had the closest Motor Trike dealer order a couple of the LED lights figuring I better have a spare on hand as well. MT has been very responsive and although the lights were I thought fairly priced ($21 each + $20 shipping), after many years of being an Army Aviation Maintenance Officer, I like to find sources for parts, right from the manufacturer if possible. I finally identified the light manufacturer, United Pacific, who did a lot of internal research to give me their part numbers. The standard, solid shining light is just a 3 LED, two wire light PN 38767 but the company also has a 6 LED PN 39333, three wire light that flashes, which is both a running light and a turn signal/brake light.

Of the original 8 rectangular lights in the light bar, I replaced the two outside solid lights, 2 on the left and 2 on the right, with the 6 flashing LED lights, PN 39333. It isn’t quite as bright as I was hoping for but it does give me more light and flashing directional and brake lights on the rear of the trike I didn't have before.

What I also found was there is a wide range of prices for the lights but they don’t come with the plastic chrome bezel around the light, that comes with the MT procured lights, so you have to reuse the original plastic chrome bezel. In my search I found some places charging over $20 for the 6 LED light. I found Summit Racing to be the cheapest with $3.99 for the #38767 and $7.99 for the #39333 lights. I felt the extra flashing of the outside lights would be a plus for other drivers to see me from the rear.

I took some pictures of the lights flashing lights but the .MOV files are tooooo big, even though I only recorded 5-6 seconds of the flashing.
