Minimizing Heat from the Exhaust

Hello I'm new here, I was wondering if someone could tell me where in the pipes on 2012 TG the cats are at and the best way to remove them.

The “Cat” is basically in front of the Trans cover (area circled in Red in the 1st pic) in the header pipe.

Removal of the cat requires removal of the pipes, cutting it open, removing it, then re-welding the window that was cut out.

The cat should be in the header pipe. You can chop it out yourself or cut it out and reweld the pipe or best is buy a header pipe that has it already removed. You can find them on EBay Good luck
