Mileage per summer ?????

Just wondering what is the most and least miles you have put on in a summer rides??? Most the wife and I have ever managed is 10,000 I am sure there are people here that would laugh at that kinda mileage but we are limited because of the area we live in and she is still working... I'm sure when she retires the mileage will go up... Ride safe live long.. Jerry

10k since last May. And I didn't go anywhere.

Average only 6,000 to 8,000 ( this year only 3,000 ) wife was not able to ride. That is on the trike . The other 2 bikes are 2,000 and the new one only a few 100. I know I have a friend that does that on a weekend (Well almost ) . He takes 3,000+ mile trips 4 or 5 times a year.

This past summer we did about 4,000 which is not enough for me. But some days were just too hot to enjoy the ride. One of the "down sides" of living in Florida is the 140 days over 90 F. :GL1800:

Well, we did two 'big trips' this summer, one from Central Texas to Virginia, NC, and TN, which gave us about 3800 miles, and one from CenTex to Cali, Ariz, Nev, Utah, NM, etc., to see friends, state parks, landmarks, which was about 5300 miles. That's in addition to all our little trips around Texas, so probably somewhere above 10K from June to September, going coast to coast. That's about average mileage for us . . .

the most miles i have put on in one trip was 5400 miles.Went from Illinois to Sturgis, sd. the west to Idaho, colorado , utah then back home. travel time was 14 days

Wow.. I told you that some of you would laugh at me with 10k !!!!! Our miles came in about 5 month period...You guys have done in about 2 weeks what I do in a summer...

WK its not how much it is how often. Those 25 mile rides add up.
