Pre48, this tire is one of two that I have used over the years on my GL1800 Trike. The other was a Bridgestone BT45 same size. Both of these tires, in my opinion, are very good and will give you "thousands" of miles of service on the front of a Goldwing. Of the two, I was more of a fan of the BT45. With the MPA I would get the dreaded cupping and a "buzz" in my handle bars, which i turn would over time cuase my fingers to tingle (go to sleep). The BT45 did not do that. But again, that was on my Motor Trike, with no rake and Progressive Springs. In total, I ran aprox 170,000 miles on that trike and tires and in instance, would get about 32 to 36 thousand miles out of my front tires running them at 41 PSI.

These are rear tires that can mount on the front of a Wing. There is discussion about mounting them in forward of reverese direction, and have done both, however my breaking set up was not standard, so my results were different then the standard Trike. Hope that helps a bit.

WingStuff is a good place to buy - if I remember correctly last BT45 for Gl1800 was about $110.00 delivered.
