Just received our new 2015 Goldwing with Roadsmith kit and was wondering where I can get a manual for the bike. Mainly I don`t know where to start when it comes to the top shelter removal. Non air bag model. Thanks.

2015 Honda should have its own Owners manual that came with the bike. If its lost, plenty on Ebay or dealer ordering. Roadsmith if it wasn't furnished by the installer has downloads online depending on the Model HT or HTS 1800 kit, click on your model and download what you need.

Some dealers and installers could care less about any kind of paperwork, they just want your $$$$$$$$......

Bob, If I understand you correctly you are looking for a 2015 GL1800 shop manual. I bought mine from Wingstuff.com but I expect there are other places you could get it. Have you gone to the Roadsmith website and downloaded all the manuals that pertain to you conversion? There is some nice to have information there..

Hope that helps you out. :xszpv::xszpv:

I have the manual for the kit and the one with the bike, however I would like a shop manual that explains things in more detail than the bike manual does. Will look into Wingstuff. Thanks.

Years ago there were manuals other then the factory shop manual but to be honest I haven't even looked for them recently. I find the Honda manual to be OK. Sometimes I have to hunt around a bit but always find with I'm looking for.. :xszpv::xszpv:

I'm always looking for more information. What is this online manual????

I have the manual that came with the bike......I have the one that is on line....I want the paper one (service manual). The one with the bike does not explain enough.....I don`t have a computer in my garage, there for I`d like a paper manual that I can take in my garage that explains in more detail than the bike manual. Hope this explains why I`d like the service manual. I`ll wait till Wingstuff has the 2015 manual in stock.

One of the things I do with the computer manual is I print out the section Im using when working on the trike. I underline key things and highlight torque values and such. And seeing that I printed them if they get oily or greasy,no biggie as I can always replace the page. With a laptop if your doing minor maintenance its easier scrolling pages than turning paper and with the screen you can magnify to get a better look at a picture in the manual. I have a paper and CD and I wind up using the CD more.

I also print out pages from the manuals I do have on my computer. Don't have them all but those I have are handy.

Another reason to print them out is you can get them seventeen kinds of dirty/nasty then toss them in the recycle bin when the job is finished... :D:D Makes it nice not having to go out to the shop when someone needs a little help also.:xszpv: :xszpv:

I knew what you were going for Bob. Always nice to have it in print. Even nicer if you don't have to worry about getting grease on the pages... :)
