Making it fit or to How to prevent a garage paper weight

Hello everyone,
I've read just about everything I can and looked at all the pictures I can find but I still need some help.

We bought a new trike for my wife. Still at the shop. First they ordered mini-apes but the width of the grips were too wide. So they ordered the reach bars (56176-08). I have them on my ultra. However, I think she will still need another 1.5 to 2 inches pull-back without going wider in the grips to bee really comfortable. This seems to be a challenge looking at the specs for the different options on the net.

Does anyone have any practical experience with this issue? Any suggestions? We will also try a reduced reach seat in combination with the bars but I'm trying to research all options.

The next mod that gets done on my trike is the KhromeWerks 2+2 narrow bars. Have a look maybe these are what you're looking for?

We have the Trike home and I've put about a hundred miles on it. It is different but a lot of fun. I think the "flat-turn" feeling is the only kind-of weird thing.

Wife is tearing up the parking lots. The handlebars may be fine. Control reach may be an issue. Time will tell. BTW she has the "Black Magic".

Thanks for the help and suggestion.

I think the color and graphics on that trike are great. HD did a good job on that one.

I'm not sure the reduced reach seat would work also. I am also a vertically challenged individual, and I tried that seat on my Heritage. Although it pushed me forward a bit, making reaching the bars easier, it gave me the feeling of sitting on the back edge of the gas tank, spreading my knees out too far.

I then tried the Sundowner seat, which fit me very well, but too much vibration came through. Went back to the stock seat and realized then it was the best for me.

I now have a TriGlide and put the Road Zeppelin seat on it. Works as well as a reduced reach seat for me, and much more comfortable.
