Has anyone ever applied heat - to bend a Harley clutch lever - thus bringking the lever angle closer tho the handel bar ? (reduced throw)

I know there are products out there, but this processs seems so simple, and I only want a one inch change.

You tube demonstrates, Easly bending Aluminum. What do you think ?

I took my clutch lever off & traced it out on a piece of paper. Wrapped the part that was in contact when placed in my vice. Would pull it out & check with the outline on the cardboard to see how much it moved. Did this a few times until I got it where I thought I wanted it. Worked great for me. Just don't put to much of a bend in it or it won't start in gear.
