Maggie Vally Trike Ralley

[Minnesota Dick]

Well this will be my 1st trike ralley that I will be attending.

I booked a room for Martha and I at the Microtel this morning for arriving on Wed and leaving on Monday morning.

We haven't yet decided if we will be trailering the trike or if we will rideing it from Minnesota. Martha thinks that we should trailer it because of maybe weather problems and the long distance. She says that me being 72 years old that it might be to much for me. arty:

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the ralley one way or another. I hope that where will be a place to park the truck and trailer if we trailer as I forgot to ask when I booked the room.

I think we will have plenty of parking area, Dick. It is so exciting to see how many members are coming that we haven't met in person yet, and we are looking forward to getting acquainted with you and Martha!

We sure would like to go but we were down there last year for a week.

Minn Dick, we drove the trike down from Wisconsin and it's a easy 2 days.
If you do 3 days you'll have it made!!
We always drive the I-Systems to get some place as it's faster.
BTW, I'm 69

We'll be comin' in from Central Texas for our third Rally!! Gettin' everything lined up already - John's VERY anxious to get on the road! Dick, hubby is 71 and we do 15 hour days on our 'big trips' so don't think you're too old until YOU think you're too old!! We stop between Memphis & Nashville (around 14 hours or so) and then get to Maggie Valley on Wednesday, leaving Monday. Can't wait!!!

dick i will turn 72 in april and we will be riding our trike from near erie pa. we will leave on tuesday aand arrive on wednesday. this will be our fourth trip to NC. we will be in the same motel. we ride a dark red goldwing champion trike. see you there.

The wife and I will be comeing in from Las Vegas Nv. I am pushing 73, she is 71. I have cancer and only half a heart thats working now but we wont let minor things stop us from haveing fun. We plan on going on to key west after the rally and then back home along the gulf coast. Come on down.

Blondie Gal, 15 hour days on trike? I had my wife on ours for 13 hours one day and had a real hard time getting her back on almost quit riding with me. We'll see you all in Maggie Valley. Tom and Lillian.

Well folks I was hoping to meet some of you in person. But will not be able to make the rally this year. Y'all have fun.

Well, I have decided that the TriGlide will be a trailer queen for the trip to Maggie Valley.

If we get there a day earley that is ok as we will just get a room and spend the day rideing around the area. Martha wants to spend a day at the Builtmore and this will keep her happy for the trip. She can dream that maybe someday we will have a place like that.

I look at it this way, I will get almost a week of riding in the area and by trailering I don't have to worry about the weather coming and going.
