Got home last night from our trip to Maggie Valley. Just a little under 8000 miles for the trip. Seen relatives in New York, Vermont, Virginia and in Texas. My SUV got around 28 MPG on the road by itself and around 11.5 MPG when towing the trailer and Bike. Good to be back home and sleep in my own bed and eat at regular times.

Thanks Ray for the post.:GoodPost:

You are right, "Road trips" can be lots of fun with friendship, but nothing compares to hitting the sack in your own bed.ThumbUp

Ray, glad you all made it home safe. It is always good to be back home! Sounds like you had a good trip! We enjoyed meeting you and Sue at Maggie Valley!

Yup , nothing like it :homesweet:

If I'm there next year it will be without the bike. 2019 Chevy Traverse gas mileage without the trailer 28 MPG, with trailer and bike 10-12 MPG @65 MPH.
