Luggage Rack Light

My parts guy said that the light that goes on the luggage rack will fit FW. But the parts book does not show one for the FW. Has any one done this.

No I let them do it, so that it would fall under the FLRT's warranty when I first bought it.

As far as I know ... almost all Harley accessories are guaranteed for 2 years.

They are wrong. First figure out which airwing rack you have, (sometimes they use the one not specified for the free) then look at the lights in the paper catalogue, you will see the part numbers for the racks that light fits. I have the light on my flrt

The H-D Airwing racks are made to take the corresponding H-D Airwing light kits.

I will look for the paperwork so I can give you the number, the issue though is there are a couple different luggage racks that are "air wing" There is the one that fits the freewheeler and the one the fits the triglide. Now some dealers installed the correct rack and some installed the triglide rack, both racks will accept the light designed for that rack part number. I went through with the dealer that the light that fits the part number for the FLRT was not correct and wouldn't fit as my dealer installed the triglide rack.... so I have to get the other light. You just need to match the light to the rack part numbers. This is best done with the paper catalogue ( I hate to say that I am an IT person)

I agree. when you look more into things to see what works and try and tell them. It is like they do not want to know.

I would like a row of lights above the fender. It seems there is not enough light across the rear of the trike and I want to be SEEN

Here is what I would like to see. A brake/running light that would fit where the reflector is now on the back. But not to big.

It comes with the wrong harness it has a 6 pin the Freewheeler has an 8pin I hard wired mine
