Loud Squeal

When I pull into my drive way going very slow and in 1st gear I hear a squeal, I 1st thought it was the breaks dragging but when I put it in neutral [and still rolling] the squealing stops, any one else have this problem ?
it's a 2013 with 2200 miles on it. Thanks.

Sounds like the clutch slipping to me,,, but I am sure there will be a smarter person than me tell ya what it might be...

In gear or not shouldn't make a difference if it were a clutch pack. The clutch is pulled in and disengaged.

First gear does have a loud high pitched whine even with the clutch pulled in. Neutral would stop that high pitch whine.

Only thing I can think of.

When you put it into neutral are you holding the clutch in or letting it out and coasting?

When I put it in neutral and let the clutch out [release the handle] the squeal stop's, and still coasting, maybe 1-4 mph.

I should say just a squeal, not a loud squeal, but I can hear it above the eng. noise. Thanks.

Is it a squeal or a whining noise??

More of a squeal then a whin [but my hearing is bad], I guess I'll take it to the dealer, I'll let you know what they find.

It's probably the same squeal we all suffer... our wallets having a hissy fit.

Hate to say it but since it's still under warranty you may want your favorite dealer to listen to it.

Just got back from the dealer, they drove it in the parking lot and said that it is making a squeal and it has to do with 1st gear, they told me to go on and drive it until I get a little closer to the 5000 mile ck. and at that time they will drain the oil and ck. for any metal and anything else that would cause it to squeal in 1st.
The trike has 3500 miles not 2200 [my mistake] they told me to bring it back at 4500 miles.
It still shifts smooth and drives great, just that squeal in 1st at slow speed. ???
