The previous owner had installed various different stereo systems. When I turn off the engine, it make a loud pop from the speakers.

Also, what is the little square button below the volt meter ?

I am referring to the white button with the wire attached.

Driving lights? Adjustable front suspension? Those items to come mind. The only other thought I have is to open up the area and follow the wire to see where it ends.

There could be a fault in the wiring or the stereo itself.

Popping noise in speakers when shutting off engine

It stopped making the popping noise. It seems to be from the aftermarket stereo system. If I set the audio switch to headphones, it no longer pops when being shut down.

My best guess: I would bet it is from an amp having been installed in the aftermarket system. The amp powering off will cause a brief voltage spike and the speakers are reacting to that. That is what you are likely hearing.

Often times if an installer connects the amp power in and the remote lead to the same wire you hear a popping noise when you turn the big off. The resolve would be to separate the remote wire to the main power wire going into the amp. Try to find a wire that only has power when the bike turns on and has no power when the bike turns off. Connect that to the amps remote wire. You may also want to see if the amps main power is reading the battery voltage when the bike is turned off. If so your good, if not then that has to be rectified as well.
