Looking for quality control switches!

The previous owner bought crappy China made control switches. They truly are garbage.

I have had 2 buttons break in a very short period of time. As well, I am tired of the brake fluid soaked hand grip from a leaky reservoir seal. I have 1" handlebars.

Anyone have any advice on a Company/Brand I should look into? I am not one to buy junk and buy it over and over.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Looks like a stock 1" HD front master in use on your handlebars.
The type used around 06 + or - a few years.
A rebuild kit for it should be an easy buy...Sucks these issues are something you need to deal with now!
As for the switches, hard telling what you currently have, but anything can be "fixed" as long as you have the $ & patience for the build.
Again if the controls are based on 1" Harley, the rest should be easy to figure out.
Oh the joys of buying someone else's "previously enjoyed" ride.
No sense in giving up now, your almost there Dave!...

Never giving up! I am looking to buy new controls. Not just new switches at this point. I have replaced the buttons/switches and have already had 2 buttons break apart. So, should I be looking at a better brand. I am thinking yes!

I bought these and they lasted no time at all. Less than 250 miles. Today, the right turn button just broke for no reason.

If I were to leave my controls as is, but replace the button/switches/wiring again. Is there a brand I should look into?

As long as them will fit they should be great replacements.

It depends on how deep you want to get into the rewiring of what you've got.
What you have appear to be Harley switches/controls.
If you go to HD factory supplied replacement switches, you might be faced with the same issues that you have now.
Even more so if you choose to put "aftermarket" HD style switches in your existing controls.
I have been running HD controls with aftermarket, (Vtwin Mfg.), switches. These switches have held up well for me for the past 3 years with no quality issues or failures.
I am sure these switches are not made in the USofA, but for my purposes, they work.

You could go to Honda or other brand controls & switches, but the headache of rewiring them comes into play.
We're in the prime of our riding season in most of the country right now & additional downtime above & beyond what you've missed already is something to consider...

I fixed the wiring and ordered an extra set of matching buttons. If a button breaks, I will just replace it.

For the rest of the season, I ride!

I got a master cylinder repair kit from HD. Time to stop a leak! Ride safe guys!
