Looking for advice on purchasing a used Tri-Glide

Don't know much about Tri Glides, so thought I'd turn to the experts. Hammond Harley Davidson has a beautiful, used Tri Glide for sale (Can be seen on their website). Less than 700 miles, fully loaded, and a beautiful factory custom purple. Thinking (just thinking) about trading in my 2015 FW. What would be a good price on the TG. They're asking $29,999. Thanks for any advice.

What year is the Tri-Glide...

My dealer had a new 16 Tri-Glide on the showroom floor [3 weeks ago] 32,000 out the door just add tax and tags.. No setup, and no trans fees.. The 17's were 35,000...

Might depend on what year it is. I don't think that is all that far below new price. Not counting options and paint. 700 miles? I just want to slap whoever did that puny amount before deciding they didn't like it.:qpnmt:

Sorry, forgot the year; it's a 2016. Older couple bought it and the husband was killed in an auto accident. Wife didn't know how to ride it, and didn't want to look at it just sitting there.

That is an awesome price! I bought my 2015 under similar circumstances. Had 158 miles and guy traded his in because he didn't like trikes.

The special paint makes the deal even better. The 16s have the water cooled heads so you should, theoretically, get longer engine life.

You can't go wrong!
