hey all... I have been searching for a few months for a trike. I have done a lot of research and have come down to a couple local trikes for sale. one is a neighbor, coincidently. he has a 2005 ultra classic, with lehman trike kit. has 20k miles. lots and lots of chrome, mechanical reverse, gps, Sirius radio, aftermarket aluminum rims in the back, paint in very good condition. he will let it go for 14k. I think it is a steal at that price, but looking for any recommendations for price.

Welcome aboard,Nate. Does that trike have IRS or solid axle? If it's the latter,you can probably find a 2009-10 TriGlide for just a little more money. Something to consider,,

I looked under it briefly and it looks like it is a solid axle.... you are right.. may be worth a few thousand more to get a newer machine.

And Most here would suggest a larger motor than the 88 CI - I think....

got some more info... it is NOT the independent rear end- I am ok with that. the trike does have a 95 big bore kit- definitely a big plus. 21k miles. Has a custom rear wheel, gps, really looks nice. I may offer him $12k - he was at 16k but I think he thought it had ind. rear suspension.

I spent 18k last winter to get my 2010 ultra classic triked ans a few other goodies like reverse, security, rake, back rest. You can consider that when looking at that one.

I am digging the hannigan trikes. they are really nice. I wouldn't mind looking into one but want to keep cost of triked bike or trike under 20k.

Here's a heckuva deal for a Valkyrie trike & trailer. If I were trike shopping,I would give it serious consideration.
