Longtime Trike Lover, Taking Some Baby Steps

Greetings All!

I’ve been around motorcycles and motorcycling since I was 15. I’m a retired Navy guy, and work security at a local hospital in Middle Tennessee. After a recent jaunt with my wife on our ‘06 Royal Star Tour Deluxe, I discovered that my right hip and both knees began to protest at stops. As of now, our budget doesn’t allow for a full trike conversion, or the purchase of a factory three-wheeler. I am, however, very interested in a bolt-on setup such as the Voyager kit. I am excited about learning from many of y’all. Thanks for having me.

I had a GL1500 Goldwing with a Voyager and it worked well and it is a well made add on unit.

I appreciate all of the welcoming comments. We’re looking closer at the Voyager set-up, and I’m pretty sure we’ll be triking it down the road by Spring. I won’t lie - it has to do with $$$, mostly unexpected setbacks. But, God’s got this, and I hope to be well educated in Trikedom when we’re ready to take the plunge.
