I said I would never do it but I might renege on my promise. I'm afraid I'll put out the money then find out I lose something or some capabilities I need or want.

If I use 1 free wire for me and 2 Bluetooth headsets I know my wife cannot talk on the CB but she doesn't now so theirs nothing lost. What else might I lose? Or gain?

I'm thinking there are more CB Radios on bikes than people with a Bluetooth headsets.

Sully, I'm assuming you're speaking about communications from bike to bike. I maybe wasn't clear but I was primarily speaking of going wireless on my bike and still be able to use all the built in features. If I'm reading and understanding this stuff correct I'd be able to hear by Bluetooth my passenger, GPS, phone, even pair to others in my group with Bluetooth for bike to bike conversation within about 900 meters (their estimate).

I might be understandingly it all wrong.

Fuzzy, those are the things I need to know. I'm also hard of hearing and am having a difficult time hearing my wired speakers that are presently used in my helmets. In my case I think it's exaggerated by the distance from the speaker to my ear. I'm going to build that area out a little and hopefully get positive results.

Even though I don't have my 2012 Goldwing trike anymore let me tell you what I learned about going bluetooth.

I am really hard of hearing. I have two cochlear implants and I tried everything. I bought 2 Sena 20s and learned by the time you have everything you need there is a ton of things you have to charge up at night. Two Sena's, two phones and any other wireless devices you may have such as Ipads and things.

It was overwhelming!

I went back to EdSets and one cable. Easy.

Bluetooth is nice but it wasn't easy for me.

I wear hearing aids and find that the volume on the Sena 20 is very good when wearing a 3/4 helmut and I do not wear the hearing aids while riding. I just hear my wife whenever she coughs.
