Whats too low? What is your tire pressure? should be in the low 20's ( 22 23 ) not sure how you adjust the shocks they all have some adjustment air or wrench

Is it less than 7" ? If you have the running boards it will be lower. My drain plug is 7" off the ground. My mufflers are 8"

AFIK the Roadsmith is the only currently available trike kit that doesn't give up ground clearance when running boards are added.

How low should his trike be and how can he raise it up? He has a Lehman not a Roadsmith.

Yes John. I understand that his is a Lehman trike. I was responding to your comment, "If you have the running boards it will be lower." Sorry for not making myself clear.
I don't know anything about a Lehman suspension. I would think that adjustment is addressed in the 'owners' manual. If not, a call to Lehman should prove fruitful.

Lehman Trikes sit very low to the ground,my tail pipes drag every once in a while . Drive crossways across steep driveway aprons Rear suspention is stiff on rough roads.Low tire pressure is half the battle and air pressure in air shocks on rear of bike is the other. I"ll be trying something this winter to help ride . I'll post it next year if things workout.
i just bought a 1500 lehman trike and too low any adjust on it and ride hard on rough road any thing to do to help the ride

jm93wing,

If the front end is low we make extended fork caps for the 1500.
These caps replace the stock caps, they are 1-1/2" longer and allow you to extend the front forks further down through the triple tree.

These raise the front end of the bike about 1" and will give you more ground clearance.

IF your problems are back end related, these probably will not help there.

Chuck

I do not know about your trike but my 96se with a 06 lehman trike has 60 series tires. You may want to try going to a 70 series tire this should raise it up some.
