left turn indicator burning very dim in slight rain storm or washing

93 gold wing that i have change all the lights to leds .now has a sight dim indicator burning when it slightly rains or if i wash it . does not last very long . drys out and quits . any suggestions were to start looking.

Front or rear lights?

Water could be getting into the connector.
just the indicator not the lights. can"t see water getting in to the indicator connector with just enough rain just to dampen the windshield. thanks for you help

which connector would you look at first. thanks for you help

Sorry ... meant the connection points at the dim bulb's socket. Assuming there is 12v+ at the socket, in an incandescent bulb circuit, dim means there is a problem with the ground. However, it could be a ground problem in that circuit elsewhere.

This is behind the meter panel that plugs into the harness.

Circled in red is the connector. The connectors circled in blue go to the LCD display (unless you have an Interstate).

There could be a small chafe in the sub-harness wire that the slightest bit of moisture allows the indicator to glow faintly.

Also check the connection where you installed the LED load equalizer.

Also do you have a service manual to show you the steps in disassembly?

The attached video will give you an idea of what is involved in getting to the meter panel, even though the video maker is dealing with speakers.

Clean it's contacts and seal the area from water getting in.

Since it's an LED circuit, verify that all the little LED's are working on the bulb, and that the voltage to the bulb is the same as others in the same circuit.
