Y'all:
NAPA has the TruckLite brand LED headlight replacements on sale this month.
The 7" LED is $189 (p/n 27270C)and the 4.5"auxiliary lamps are $99 (p/n 80275)

I have the first gen TruckLite LED's from 4 years ago. The aux lights have a pretty wide beam. These look different in the picture, looks like the optics are better.

The new Phase7 lights are much better when it comes to focusing the lights. Phase 6 kind of scattered the light around with no real focus on where the light went. That's a great price by the way. What kind of warranty to they offer? If you buy them from Kuryakyn, I think it's a 3 or 4 year warranty. Harley sells the same headlight and passing lamps, but for more money and a one year warranty.

Here's a link to a great write-up comparing the Phase 6, Phase 7 and the H-D LEDs.

Thanks for posting that review. Looks like I'm upgrading. I've aimed my Ph6 aux lamps down quite a bit because they are in people's eyes.

I see you're in Centennial. I went to Arapahoe HS, class of '73

Definately more headlight technology is better in the long run, but I want to upgrade to the "7" right now!
Anyone know if special electronics or mods to the existing harness on a bike currently running H4's is needed?

Nothing needed, those plug right into your standard 3-prong headlight connector.

And by looking at the pic in the NAPA flyer, and the pic on the TruckLite website, the aux lights have the proper connector to plug right into the H-D also.

And your standard headlight bezels work also

I moved to the Denver area in either '72 or '73, can't remember which...too long ago I guess. Arapahoe HS is just down the road from us. Still a great area to live in even though it's getting pretty crowded. Whenever I'm convinced the area has grown too large, I get to travel to Chicago, Dallas or Houston and realize our "little cow town" isn't so big and the traffic really isn't that bad.

That's the problem with the Phase 6 lights. You have to aim them so low to not blind oncoming traffic, they don't light up the road the way they should.

Enjoy the new lights!!

Can't speak for older models

I installed Phase 7 headlight and passing lamps last spring and we love the them ThumbUpride safely fearless

2004 - Will they fit?

My trike is a 2004 CVO...will these fit the older HD? I was wanting to go LED but sure did not like the HD price....this looks like the way to go.

The passing lamps should fit size-wise, not sure about the plug inside the housing, but that's easy to work around if it's different. The headlight should be plug and play, has the standard 3-prong headlight connector.

Cool!

Thanks for the info. A little solder and heat-shrink tubing and I can make it work.
