Learning experience or Knowledge for new rider

I am a new rider to trikes and never rode a two wheel motorcycle. I have less than six months of experience. I have noticed some you guys and gals have years of riding experience. I would like to know would anyone like to share what they learned from years of riding on safety by your knowledge and experience. Thanks for any response. A new rider just trying to learn as much as possible about riding.

Don't take anything for granted.. When riding near intersections Expect someone at a stop sign to not see you and turn left in front of you, And in high traffic areas cover your front brake with two fingers to quicken your reaction [stoping[ time...
Theres a lot more i can say, And someone else can add to the list....And to tell the truth , There isn't a month that gos by that something new doesn't come at you that you seen [happened] before...

These two sites should get you started. A lot of the two wheel info will apply to trikes as well so don't discount them. Get the attitude that everyone and everything on the road is trying to kill you. Good luck.

Find a good group to ride with. If they are a true group they will take you under their wing and teach you well. If they don't want to teach you forget them and find another group. I belong to the Blazing Saddle Riders in Vernon BC and also the BC Lone Wolves You could not get a better group
