Late nighters---unite!!!

I don't do anything special to my wheels, just clean and go. Just got home I see everyone survived the snow and ice.

That I did. Now it's raining like pouring pee out of a boot. Has been since about 1pm. Supposed to keep it up all night long. Gonna have flooding since it's rapidly melting the snow on top of that.

And you with the GW don't have to do anything special. Harley makes the aluminum that (I swear to this) are meant to get ugly. They surely are hard to keep clean. The brake dust get on them and stains badly.

We had rain this evening off and on, it is going to be in the 50's tomorrow so all this should melt. I live on a dirt road and just keeping my trike clean is a job sometimes.

Fitness band update. I've beaten it's goal for me everyday so far. It keeps upping my goal. First day was 7125. Today's goal is 7898. Unless something goes terribly wrong, I shouldn't have a problem. Went over 9000 step today. I may add in some treadmill time in the morning to throw a few extra in.

What state is Keysville? Virginia?

That is good, never really like the treadmill, used to like to run, but now knees don't like it so I walk when I can. Everyone must be sleeping hard tonight, you are quick on the keyboard.

Maybe too quick. I see you didn't see where I asked what state you live in. I'm 48 and my heart doc told me to start a 'walking program'. The fitness band is kind of prompting me to do that.

Plus as a bonus, it tracks sleeping habits as well. I guess if you're not moving it shows it as deep sleep. Light if you move a little.

According to what I see, you're not very round. Kinda thin from what I saw. But, then again everybody looks thin to me.

Kinda developing the Dunlaps disease.
I got the wife a Fitbit for Christmas. She syncs it to her tablet. She told me she has to put it into sleep mode at night on the tablet, but forgets most of the time.

BTW - Keysville is in Southern Va. He's about 150-175 miles from me.

I can put mine to sleep mode from the band itself. If I forget, normally a push notification will wake me up a remind me. It buzzes on my wrist.

Oh, and I done lapped over 20 years ago. Starting getting really bad after I quit all tobacco products back in 98. I was addicted to smokeless tobacco, skoal to be exact. Dipped for 15 years and quit cold turkey. Hardest thing I ever did my entire life. Sometime I still crave it. It was one wicked monkey on my back.

Which one do you have? Her's is "Fitbit Charge". Not the one with the heart rate monitor.

I've got Garmin Vivosmart. They were $90 each. On sale at best buy from $120. Pulled the trigger and am glad I did. And ours is without hear monitor. Garmin also makes on for the wrist, but it's $160. Didn't feel like spending that much money. If I had went, I would just added a little more to it and got us Apple watches. They do all the same things plus a whole lot more.

Oh, and it's looking like I'm going to get at least 4 days out of this charge on it. Maybe a little longer.

We went back and joined the Y last Saturday. Have our orientation today at 11:30. Will probably stay and mess with some of the machines after that.

Your town says Gloucester. I've found 'Gloucester Courthouse' on the map. Is this one and same?

We have enough machines at home. Besides if I want weights and all that, we have a fitness center here at the prison for employees and families to use. No pool though. :)

I am supposed to take my bike to the Honda dealership to for conversion and final tweaking on Friday. I can't believe I would ever say that I would be excited about going from 2 wheels to 3, but I am having difficulty in sleeping. And it's all I think about!

Of course I didn't go the conversion route, but I know what you mean. Last summer after I bought the TG, all I could think about was what I could do to it to make it better. Spent a lot of money that way. About all I'm going to do it this summer is better speakers and maybe a rear bumper. We shall see.

Of course not that you would want to spend an insane amount of more money, but I am trying to remember where I read it, that one of the trike manufacturers makes an IRS kit for the Tri Glide. But I thinks it's around $7k. It would be too much for me.

I am already getting the bumper on mine from the get go. Too many obstacles in my garage, and I always have to back up to get out. Once by boat is sold, I will have tons of room. I will miss it, but don't use it like I thought I would. That's one thing I miss from South Florida, the saltwater fishing. Had I retired there I would have probably gone fishing anywhere from once to 3x a week.

But now onto new things, and I can't wait to learn the trike handling method and hit these twisties here in Tennessee. We have great roads to ride on. As you probably know, living next door in KY.

Do they ever have a Trike gathering in the Smokies?

I guess you've seen what I will be getting, a MT Razor? If not I could load a generic photo of one.

Scott where in my profile settings do you go to list your past rides, like yours at the bottom?

Every year at Maggie Valley, and I'm thinking this year at Townsend.

Go to signature area in your profile. BTW, what's an IRS kit?

Trike Talk had one last year in September at Maggie Valley, trying to do the same this year, I don't think it has been finalized as of yet. The GL1800 forum is having one in June this year in Bryson NC. Just go to that forum and you can get all the information. We have already made our reservations for that one and am now waiting on this forum to finalize so we can go to this one.

Thanks.

Holy cow, Steve, what did you ever get started with that ambient air/nitrogen thread?!? That's tuned into some funny stuff there, I'll tell ya!!

Yeah I agree and I don't mean to continue it but every quick witted response requires that one be returned to the sender!

Oh I forgot, here is a photo of what my bike would look like with the Motor Trike Razor kit on it. Of course, this is someone else's that I found on the net.

Well I plan on a few modifications shortly after I get it back, mostly cosmetic. I will not tell you now and surprise you with them after completion. Hey when is the gathering in Maggie Valley normally? I plan on being out west, probably the whole month of June.

BTW, I looked for the signature area of my profile but I can't find it. Am I missing it, or maybe because I such a newby that its not available?
