Late nighters---unite!!!

Did it again...traded the Kimber Tactical Ultra II for a Super Carry Pro. Just didn't like the feel of the smaller gun for some reason. Put about a hundred rounds through it, and it shot well, but I'm betting this one shoots better. (Yeah I know I have a sickness, but just take a looky at it!!)

Cocked and locked, just the way it should be.

Looks like you need to go to HGA , got off early last night. I got a doe on the last day, had probably passed on her earlier in the season, but with no meat in the freezer and time running out. Have to eat some breakfast and get ready to leave for a appointment. I think I'll watch some Rifleman while I eat. Have a good shift and day.

Still here, waiting for the day to end. And yes, HGA is something I should look into.:laugh:Have a good time at your appointment (hope it ain't a doc). Gosh, I haven't seen the Rifleman in years. What channel is it on if not a local one?

Rifelman and other old spaghetti westerns on the "Sundance channel" . Here anyway.

Looks like its going to be a long cold night. Good thing I'm sitting right next to a radiator.

So, what's up everybody?

I'm awake spending time doing some paperwork and on the computer, so far I have added a friend's phone number to my phone, put away the Christmas cards I got this year, clipped coupons, just threw a spammer off the Goldwing forum, put the tools I bought from Harbor Freight in a canvas bag and finished the dishes earlier.<br />
Not much excitement today except for the snow that fell earlier. There is snow falling now. Will be going to bed now, have a good one all.

Went down to the Indie shop today to check on the TG. Getting a 30 tooth sprocket put on.
Will pick it up tomorrow. Can't wait to see how much difference it makes :pepper:

Is that a larger or smaller sprocket? Been awhile since I dealt with sprockets on a bike, what will this do for performance?

Helps with the low end, without being too noticeable at the high end. And I believe 32 was the stock size....maybe.

'09 and '10 had 32 teeth. Harley changed the trikes to 30 teeth in '11. It's kinda slow getting started especially with 2 up, and can't use 6th gear without lugging unless I'm on the Interstate. I'll let you know tomorrow.

This is what a friend and I were discussing. We came up with exactly what you just said (well, HE did).

My 91 FLHS has the 32T , I put the 6 speed trans in some 15 yrs ago. However the after mkt 1st gear is real lo. Unless I am doing 65mph or faster it Boggs at around 3000rpm. And that's on a 800lb scoot.
Your rpms will be higher with the new ratio, but the bog will end in first gear and you will be using 6th more often. My motor likes it crusing around 3500rpm on the tri. :pepper:

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts after the pulley swap,Bill. Since it isn't getting ridden very much right now,I've decided to wait till Spring to do the pulley swap on our trike.

I've been spending more time on my gun forums lately, like I normally do in the Winter. Bought Sherry her own AR-15 last week and bought myself another Marlin lever action, yesterday. Won't be long before I start reloading ammo, again.

I got to put about 30 solo miles on the new pulley setup. It's definitely smoother taking off and it revs up a little quicker through each gear. I need to recalibrate the speedometer so I can get a better idea of the change. I do like the feel.

I have a Marlin 336C lever action in 35 Rem. that I took my first deer with, along with my first few ground hogs before I got a .243 .
