I'm thinking about trying one on my 2017.

Anyone have one and what height did you buy / how tall are you?

Does it work as advertised?

All feedback is appreciated....

Riders hight doesn't mean too much.....Every rider sits a little diffident...

Most Harley dealers have a wall of demo windshields you can try out...

You might find one that will work for you there...

Windshields

I just installed a Freedom Shields new wider touring windshield. I am very pleased with it. Only took it on a 50 mile ride and am happy with the way it deflects the wind around me and my wife. Check them out at www.freedomshields.com

Asking about windshields is like asking about oil.

I have the LRS and its great, took it off my 14 Ultra

Limited and put it on my 16 Tri Glide.

Hi There - I too am thinking about a Freedom Shield, but being new to the trike not sure about what height to order. I am 5'11" - any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ron

As a point of reference, I measured my sitting height from my hammock seat to the top of my head while sitting in riding position. It was 33 inches. I have a H-D 7inch windshield. The air just rustles my short hair at speeds up to 85. The top of the shield is well below my line of sight - a vector from my eyes hits the pavement about two car lengths ahead. There is some mild buffeting around my bicep area at 70 mph and of course semis, etc change everything. Hope this helps you choose height.
