Kliktronic shifter

I have a Kliktronic electronic shifter on my Sportster trike. It allows me to shift without using my left foot as I lost both legs below knee in a railway accident.
If anyone is considering an electronic shifter be it a Pingel or Kliktronic I'd like to let you know about the experience I've had with Kliktronic.

I had a problem with the support bracket bolts shearing. The bolt keeps the shifter unit in place. Kliktronic fabricated a stronger bracket bolt for me free of charge and couriered the part to me and solved the problem. Although I was outside of warranty, this was done free of charge.

More recently a solinoid inside the electronic control box malfunctioned. Again, although outside of warranty, Kliktronic is shipping me a new control box free of charge which will arrive mid-week next week. This very rarely happens, but rather than have me send mine back for repair and having to wait, they are taking care of it for me. (control box is $350.00 US. to replace.)

I'm sorry to go on about this in detail but I am just so grateful to be receiving such amazing customer service from this company I just had to let everyone know. It seems to be an increasingly rare thing these days to be treated so well by a company.

So, KUDOS to KLIKTRONIC!!!! A company that stands behind their products and offers unbelievable customer service!:pepper:
