Now that's a surprise with all his no votes lately. I wonder what changed in him? All I can say is that I hope Kash continues in the footsteps of all the other confirmed and we keep fixing the problems that have been there for a long time. This should get interesting and I am waiting for all the declassified stuff to finally be released!

Are you positive on the confirmation vote? I'm not finding any news on it. Maybe it was a full Senate vote to advance Kash Patel to the final confirmation vote???

What I'm seeing is the final confirmation vote will start in 1 hour.

This is what I watched live, thinking it was the final vote: "The Senate voted 51-47 to end debate on Patel's nomination, ie, to invoke cloture earlier today, and advance Patel to the full floor vote. The vote is set to begin at 1:45 p.m. EST.
