45 degrees...cloudy...and windy. Sounds like a perfect day for a Nascar race and a trike ride to go see it. We live about 5 miles south of the track. Took about 10 minutes to get there. And, after the race, 10 minutes to get home. Racing and riding...and freezing...it just doesn't get any better than that!

Sounds like you had a great day. Not all of us could be that lucky. Lived in Eldorado Kansas for a year. Worked at the Texaco refinery.

At least now I know where race was. Wife is NASCAR fan. She couldn't tell me where it was today. Just that her boy, Jimmy J, came in 6th.

I was at the race there a year ago this past spring. Literally froze my tail off. Still had a ball, boy, those cars are loud!!

If the weather cooperates, I'm going to hook up the camper to my trike and work my way to Talladega for next weekends race. Will hit the back roads of WV, Va, and the BRP on the way down. That will make one less item on my bucket list.
