Just wanted to say Hey to everyone on the forum. After riding 45 years on two wheels my new wife says she wants to ride also. However my Harley Limited which weighs 910 pounds without me on it might be a little much for my 66 year old legs to balance with a rider. So I purchased a 2006 Goldwing Trike this evening. I bought it from the original owner with 22,000 miles always garaged and covered. The original owner is 76 years old and is selling because his wife can no longer ride and he doesn't want to ride without her. The GW is a light gold with chrome everything, I'll post photos once I get it home tomorrow evening. I've owner three Honda's over the years and am not worried about the mileage or the age. This bike is like new, Kathy and I could tell it was the owner's baby. I don't know how he'll feel when I ride off on it tomorrow evening.

welcome aboard. You sound like you have a GREAT find there. 06 and 22000 miles is like new. And it all ready decked out for you. Ride safe and enjoy

Congratulations!
He has already come to grips with letting it go to a good home, but he'll miss it for sure. I got where I didn't trust myself putting the wife on the back of my Harley and so we bought a trike. She is about 3 inches taller than me and weighs more, but I'm a small man, no jokes. She loves riding and we joke around about who gets the bars when we leave the house and nearly every stop we make along the way. I've got the best of both worlds and it's all good. Some times I take the Harley and she takes the Honda Trike and both of us get to be the wheel pilot. Enjoy!

Welcome from SE Missouri, glad you found us. I got my first trike the same way. My wife said when I rode off the orginal owner had tears in his eyes and said he knew it was going to a good home. I hate to think about the day I will need to quit riding but until then I'm going to find as many new roads as I can. Enjoy your new trike and ride safe.

Welcome to the forums from Florida Bill, looking forward to some pics of the new ride.
