Hi. After 50 years on 2 wheels, it's time to add that third one so we can stay in the wind. Our '10 HD Road King is currently undergoing a Motor Trike conversion and I'm really stoked about it. Unfortunately, here in Ohio, I may run out of riding season by the time my new trike is ready. So, wanted to say howdy and hope I can pick up some tips and wisdom along the way.

Welcome glad you joined us. Think you will like your trike. Hope the weather at least lets you get to ride it SOME before you have to store it. Ride Safe

Welcome to Trike Talk. This is a great place for information. I too had to make the transition after about 50 years on 2 wheels. I guess I am a slow learner but I took me about a year to really feel comfortable riding on 3 wheels and I still miss 2 wheels tho there is no going back. Find a parking lot and do lots of full lock turns in both directions then do a lot of full lock figure 8 turns. Keep increasing the speed until you are comfortable with the transitions. That will help you a lot out on the highway. Don't forget you are WIDER now, watch out for getting too close to the gas pumps and other things you never though about before. Enjoy that new trike

Welcome to the forum, I'm new here myself. I just got my first trike 3 weeks ago and I'm liking it way more than I Ever thought I would. Sorry about that cold Ohio weather coming your way, its really gonna suck after you find out how much fun your missing ! Be careful out there and enjoy the ride.
