I just posted # 357 to an old thread that asked about Veteran status. Read through most of them and am tremendously impressed and just want to take the time to THANK each and everyone of you for your service. This world would not be the same without your dedication and sacrifice. After 35 years personnel service and 26 years of my fathers service you might start to believe me when I say I've been there and done that. All except the NAVY. Well that isn't true either I was in the Navy only it was the MEN"S Department they call the Marines. Sorry about that guys and girls old habits are hard to break and I've never known Navy personnel not to respond in kind. AGAIN THANK EACH AND EVERYONE who has served their country.

I couldn't agree more, chiefwright! And thank you for all of your years of service too!

I consider ALL military, current, vets and retirees a "special breed" not everyone can do what we all did......nor do they want or need to.
It takes a dedication that no one can know.....unless you've been part of the military "family" (to include dependents, especially the spouse)
not knocking any folks that have not been a member of the military family, not everyone is intended to serve.
I too want to say "thank you to ALL the folks that have served and for all they have done!"
