Intervene and they'll take the dog. He'll end up in a shelter, and be euthanized. So choose wisely ,his life depends on it.

That is true... my wife and I have rescued five dogs over the years in addition to the couple we have purchased. All have been wonderful companions.

He might be euthanized if not adopted at the shelter but he has no quality of life in these circumstances...if you were in this situation which might you choose...this or euthanasia?

I personally would opt for euthanasia.

At my age and all the problems I've had. Euthanasia startin to sound like a plan.:) My father used to say, where the hell is Kevorkian when you need him. Keep in mind animals don't think like we do. He maybe perfectly fine with just getting fed each day.

I'm still waiting for that speeding comet to come down and hit me square in the head and end it quick.......But not just yet...But before i need diapers...:(.

I want to go before I become a burden to anyone, even then I'm to be cremated and my ashes buried at my wife (if she goes first) and daughters graves. Not sure how I would end my life when that time comes. Still have more life to live, things to see, work to do, and places to go with the wife that took me fifteen years to finally marry - after the military, a war, and families got in the way the first time around.
