Just new Trike information

Something coming onto the market sometime this year from Triumph. Another factory trike:
Triumph Prepares New Rocket III Trike for 2013

Very interesting! I looked at some Rewaco trikes before getting the TG.

The Rocket III has loads of power!

Here's a pic of a Rocket III conversion done by Brian Klock. He's setting it up for a Land Speed Record attempt.

That should be fast/fun trike. I owned a 2006 Rocket III for just under 4 years. Finally sold it to my Nephew as I was going to kill myself on it. It was a very fast bike. It does look better as a trike than as a 2-wheeler.

Thanks for the compliment, I am a rookie at Trike building but did enjoy the runs on the Salt Flats with it. The conversion is a Rocket III Touring model with a stock Motor Trike kit and a Carpenter Racing motor upgrade putting out 240 hp or so. We ran a 136 pass in 4th gear, good enought for an FIM World Record on the unpredictibale salt surface.

Hey Brian,

Good to see you here.

Congrats on the new Record!!!

Radiator big as a billboard, no fairing, and the passenger armrest looks like something you see on handicap stools.

For some odd reason I can relate to that radiator to cool an engine capable of around 240 HP. Nothing for the passenger to hang on to but a swinging Kury arm rest ???? How about putting some bags on those ? Also a real rear end & not driven by a rubber band !
Yeah, the record holder trike isn't stock, but Triumph gives you something to work with. Just not enough dealers out there for Triumph ! (so far)

Nice job on the World Record by the way !! CONGRATS !!pepper

Very nice. Hopefully you left the Ethenol at the Corn Palace and used some real gas.
