Just file my tax return for 2011

Believe me, I know the feeling. I had to write a check to Uncle Sam for over $1,400. I guess my gross income is too high and I don't have enough deductions and credits, even though I'm maxing out my 401k along with my wife's conventional IRA. I also have a Roth IRA but they aren't counted as a deduction of your income at tax time.

Due to a major business loss in 2007, we are getting back $809.00. We got a love letter from the IRS, telling us that they are going to hold on to that $809.00 for 45 days to go over our return to make sure we really should get that $809.00 back. I called my lady that does our taxes and she said that Obama hired a bunch of extra help last year, to help his figures on "unemployment". They will be double checking a lot of returns this year. I'm not worried, just thought is was funny. Al Sharpton owes over a half million in back taxes:censored::censored::censored::censored:I'm just a little ole cracker in big box of saltines!:censored: OOPS! Hope I didn't do a no no!

I figure if i owe i made money last year, But if i get money back that means i gave Uncle Sam an interest free loan last year.;)

Yea for me! I found out that I no longer have to file! Income is just Social Security and my Disability check for the V.A. The disability money has doubled my retirement income and it is non-taxable. (100% disabled PTSD). So being a vet I pay no property tax and registration fees are 50% for my vehicles and I get a lifetime hunting and fishing license! Yea for Utah.

Beautiful State AND they truly respect and appreciate Vets.
