For all of you guys that have D-K Oil filter relocator and oil cooler on your bike/trikes. Take a moment and check the tightness of the hose clamps on all of the fittings. I just blew the hose off the inlet side of the cooler and dumped about 2 quarts of oil all over my lift, my garage floor and a lot of other places. Putting my exhaust system back on my trike noted my mufflers starting to crack at the weld where the inlet joins the body of the muffler. Had to go to Arizona to order a new set of V&H mufflers.

Nah...cold high idle is 50-60 psi. Hot idle 15-30 psi. Hose friction alone on the nipple will hold but there will be leaks. Either A) the hose was not installed properly or B) the hose clamp, hose, nipple, failed. Im going with (A).

When did God make you the MASTER Harley Mechanic? If wasn't installed correctly, it was installed well enough to last for four years. When I checked the other 5 hose clamps I got atl least 1 complete turn on all of the hose clamps. Don't know what oil pressure that I have, but I do know that there is a new S&S oil pump and Cam Plate installed.
