My name is Jim, my wife is Jeanne. We have been riding Goldwings and Harleys for a while, NOT Trikes. WE had been thinking of upgrading and then an option to purchase a 1996 Royal Star Trike with 7k miles came along so we bought it to experiment with. So far so good. LOTS to learn! Hoping my wife will actually get her licence and we can ride separately together. Been riding for 25 years. Joined this forum looking for some help with questions with what we just purchased as well as questions if we decide to upgrade or convert one of our bikes.

Welcome Jim and greetings from Long Island. I'm on a stock Tri-Glide and wouldn't have any conversion answers, but you will probably find plenty of people here who can give good advice.
