I'm wondering how long it took for those of you who bought jacks from them before you got it. I've been waiting over 8 weeks after I was told it would be 2weeks for delivery. They don't answer the phone and they don't return calls or E-mails. Starting to get worried because they charged my credit card when I ordered it, this is no way to run a business

Sorry to hear this, it took maybe 2 weeks after ordering from them, this was back in 2016 for my 2016 triglide, I sold the triglide and tried to sell the J&S jack but no takers, glad I didn't I ended up buying a 2018 triglide but I did have to order a new arm for it since my jack wouldn't work on a 2018 since they changed everything, it took maybe a week to get the new arm and then I sent the old arm back.

Maybe keep checking and calling, I'm sure they was at Sturgis, they do go to bike rallies.

I have heard of this about J&S. :annoyed: If it doesnt work out call the CC company and dispute the charge.:sneakydevil:

J&S has been around for awhile:tumbleweed:

I had the same problem. After waiting eight weeks I contacted J&S and was told they had a powder coating problem and I would receive it in two weeks. 4 weeks later I called again and was told the exact same thing. After waiting two more weeks I canceled the order and received a refund on my credit card. I'm sure it's a good Jack but you have to be honest with the people.

quick ship

I ordered my jack about last November or so. It was in my driveway in less than two weeks. I love the jack and was very pleased with the quick shipment. Sorry to hear that you're having a problem. I would say stick with it as there doesn't seem to be another jack that is of equal quality.

Yes it will still work with the new design of the jack, it will go in on the left side of the jack instead of the right side which means it goes in on the clutch side instead of the front brake side like the old style. They changed the style because of the 2017 M8's so now they work on all triglides.

Hope this helps you out

It took me a while to get mine as well. After having read up on them here and on other forums, I went in with my eyes open, expecting there to be delays. It's an excellent quality jack; so much so that their popularity works against them to some extent in that it's hard to provide good customer response when you're trying to keep up with building the product.

I had more luck with messages on Facebook than anything else. But despite their issues with being a small family run company, I've seen very few complaints about *never* getting the product. My own personal recommendation would be to keep in contact, but not assume they're just ripping you off - I REALLY don't think they've ever done that to anyone, or ever will.

I bought my first J&S jack after seeing them demonstrate it at the Tomahawk Fall Ride rally back in '09 when I had an Electra-Glide Ultra. It was shipped promptly, as I recall it wasn't even two weeks. I should also note that I only lived about 120 miles away so it didn't have too far to go.

After trading for the '15 TG, I sold the original jack and bought the trike jack. This time I called them and arranged to pick it up myself. Saved almost $70 in shipping charges. Plus they gave me discount for paying cash. They also had it assembled and helped load it into my SUV. Very nice people. The owner told me it was his son who designed the trike jack.

I have since bought the conversion kit (it just replaces the extendable lift arm with a straight arm) so I can use it on two wheel bikes. This kit was also shipped promptly. I don't know why there are sometimes these long delays. Could be a problem of supply & demand?

Steve from J&S finally contacted me on Wednesday the 27th and said my jack would be shipped the next day. He also said I would be getting all the shipping information and tracking number, still waiting and received nothing. I would like to add that I really want the jack but they are making it awfully hard. I almost want to cancel my order.

I know how much it is a pain in the a$$ to wait. But there is no jack out there that is a stable as J&S Jack. I have had mine for three years and I can tell it is the best for lifting the Tri Glide.

I just talked to Steve at J&S and my jack is on it's way. I don't know why I didn't get a tracking number but Steve sent one to me today and my jack will be here on Friday, just waiting for the UPS truck .

J&S should not have charged your card account before the the jack was shipped. That’s against card brand rules. Make sure you watch the clock and dispute the charge in a timely manner. I have J&S trike jack, and it works for me, but I’m not sure it’s worth the trouble you described.

All the references to use are for a TriGlide. has anyone bought/used one on a conversion? Mine is an '02 Classic with a Motortrike conversion. Any significant difference in the frame that would make the jack less stable?
